ABOUT US
Harcourt
Consulting Engineers commenced operation in Adelaide in 1976
as Robert P. Harcourt & Associates. The business specialised
in the engineering design and documentation of service clubs
and hotels in South Australia and New South Wales. In 1979
Robert P. Harcourt & Associates relocated their Adelaide
office to the Gold Coast in Queensland expanding into the
housing sector. During 2000 - 2003 period our organization
expanded to meet the rapid growth in the building industry
and with that expansion we changed our name in January 2004
to Harcourt Consulting Engineers.
The
firm has been responsible for both civil and structural designs
in South Australia,
Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland with international
work in New Zealand, Japan
and Indonesia. With our involvement with Ezidek light weight
concrete flooring systems we are at present planning and designing
projects in Malaysia and Korea.
Over
the years our office has become familiar with the unique environmental
considerations of the area and has developed a valuable knowledge
base of government requirements, availability of materials
and general construction practices. Performance of the company
has been enhanced by access to a well established network
of professionals and construction personnel, this network
significantly contributes to providing our clients with economical
designs and excellent service.
